This is the view from my hot tub yesterday. It doesn’t do the view justice, you can’t see the snow covered mountains!
Anyway, yesterday I was lucky enough to be able to work from home. About lunch time, I noticed that my body was cold and my neck was sore from staring at the computer monitor. Sure, it doesn’t help that I’m sitting in a make shift office of a picnic table and a metal fold up chair in an unfinished basement (ghetto), but the point is, I was cold. So before my lunch of smoked ribs (got a new Traeger), I threw my robe on and headed out back. My hot tub temp was 104 and perfect. Now, after a quick stint of time living in Southern California I just haven’t been able to accept the long Utah winters. I hate them now. For 30 odd years I had no problem with them, but after living the sunny life I just can’t handle them. As always, the grass is greener on the other side. I love hot tub soaking in the cold, seasons, and crazy Utah thunder storms. I guess I need to win the lottery and get that second home. I digress.
My favorite JetPak at this time is the NeckBlaster, especially when all alone in the hot tub, why alone you ask? Let me tell you. The NeckBlaster JetPak has a tendancy to throw a lot of water on your neck, shoulders and sometime my bony shoulders will make the water spray in weird, not natural, directions. And never fail, when soaking with the wife, right at her face. So when I’m alone, I don’t care. I sit back, turn them on full blast and sit back! I did this for about 8 minutes till tender, massageing my cold feet simitaniously. Then I finished it off by just soaking for another 8 minutes enjoying the sounds and sights of spring, enough so that I ran back to the basement for my camera.
Life is good in the hot tub.
